Nairobi National Park: covers an area of 117 square kilometer and is situated i the center of Nairobi. The park in unique in the sense that it has game reserve within the boundaries of a major city. Lions, cheetahs and rhinoceros cn be seen in the park. The park has a reserve for over 400 species of birds. The major attraction of this park is black rhinoceros, large prdators like-lion, leopard, hyena, large herbivores like-buffalo, zebra and wildbeast.
Giraffe Center:The Giraffe center is located in Langata, almost at the center of Nairobi. It was established in order to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe, that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa. The main attraction for visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam in the area along with the girrafes.
Safari Park: is a zoo-like commercial tourist attraction where visitors can drive their own vehicles and observe the wildlife while viewing animals either cages or in enclosure. The main attraction is large animals from Sub-Saharan Africa such as giraffes, lions, rhinoceros, elephants, zebras and antelopes.
