There are 2 guest houses managed by the Forest Department inside the hotel. There are 4 rooms along with attached toilets. It is advisable to carry food to the forests.

Kakamega boasts of the dense tropical rain forests replete with diverse flora and fauna. The forests exude a colossal and majestic beauty by virtue of the tall trees that form a canopy which do not allow sunlight to penetrate. The animals range from 320 species of twittering birds to monkeys, reptiles, etc. The tourists can explore the wilderness of the forest and the subtle nuances of a well balanced ecosystem. The waterfall of Isiukhu provides the soothing, soul elevating beauty amidst the dense forest. The waterfalls exude a pristine and serene beauty and the tourists can spend hours looking at the sparkling white water gushing with a momentum.
