The coastal town of Kilifi is one of the rare places which offer both natural beauty and historic site seeing. The Mnarani Ruins explored in the 1950s takes us back to the ancient Swahili city which existed centuries ago. The ruins which consist of a deep 70 m well and a grand Mosque embellished in ornate carvings is truly a splendor for the tourist. There are also several mausoleums strewn across the archaeological remains. The natural beauty of the Kilifi creek is also an overpowering site here.

Arabuko Sokoke National Park – Lying between Kilifi and Malindi this national reserve with its semi tropical climate is a good haunt for ornithologists with a varied stock of rare birds. Apart from the avian this forest is a home to many insects and mammals. Hiking paths run through the park and you are sometimes surrounded by colorful butterflies.

The Bofa Beach-lying on the shores of the Indian Ocean this splendid beach of silvery sands is one of the best in the country. Draped in the bright golden hue of the sun tourists can indulge in a whole lot of beach sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, water skiing etc.

Kilifi Town – A lovely serene town with a harmonious mix of expatriates and locals whose primary livelihood revolves cashew nut. The place is a good place to shop for rare African souvenirs and local handicrafts. The snake park lies to the south of the town.

Vuma Caves – About a 45 minute boat ride from Kilifi, these caves are the best way to experience marine life with activities like angling for the tourists.
