Kabarnet is situated in the eastern part of Kerio Valley. The place portrays the breathtaking beauty of Tugen Hills, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria and Kerio Valley. The president of Kenya lived in Kabarnet.
Kabarnet Museum has some of the materials of Kenyan as well as of Kabarnet's rich culture and heritage. The museum is surrounded by beautiful gardens replete with foliage of green plants. The garden by virtue of its plethora of plants has been elevated to the status of a botanical garden. The tourists can visit Lake Baringo which has a plethora of fish. The lake is a visual delight amidst the dry plains. A lot of birds also flock to the lakes.

The beauty of the lake is further enhanced by the
presence of an island which is very craggy and rugged. Njemps
tribe lives in the vicinity of the island. The island nestled
amidst the lake exudes a poetic and enchanting beauty. The crocodiles,
the hippopotamus inhabit the lakes with a wide variety of fish.
The lake is also surrounded by the mountains which are volcanic
in nature.
The serenity and the tranquility pervading in the lake coupled
with the rocky islands in its Center adds to the invigorating
charm of the lake The azure sky and the colossal mountains further
enhance the beauty of the lake. Another attraction is the lake
Bogoria located amidst a dry land surrounded by Siracho Range.
The lake serves as the rendezvous for Flamingo birds and it
exudes a pinkish tinge. The lake is an active volcano and has
many geysers and springs. The magic wand of nature with its
awe inspiring beauty is visible in this lake. The lake has a
plenitude of birds and wild animals.
Transportation to Baringo:
Baringo does not have any airport. It is well connected to other parts of Kenya by a battery of buses and shuttle taxis.

Lake Baringo Club is an ideal place to stay which is provided with all the facilities. The club has a swimming pool which is surrounded by a collection of colorful plants.
