Kajaido is located on Uhuru Highway stretching from Nairobi to Narmanga. The local government of southern Maasailand is situated here. The inhabitants of Kajaido are the Masais.

Amboseli National Park is situated in Kajiado district. The area is swampy with very low rainfall. The volcanic mountains and the rift valleys in the surrounding along with the azure sky and clouds lend it a mystic appeal. The variegated wild life along with the verdant setting woos hordes of tourists. The lumbering elephants and the colossal Mount Kilimanjaro lend it an ethereal beauty.
Ambos Eli National Park is frequented by tourists from all over the world. The place has the charm of natural beauty and wild animals roaming freely amidst nature. The ethereal beauty of nature is conspicuous in the majestic beauty of the colossal mountains and the valleys surrounding the place.
